Platform: PS4, Switch, Windows, Xbox One Type of Game: Survival Horror Game Modes: Single Player Difficulty: Normal
So finally got round to playing Everspace, at first look I thought it was just your straight forward space shooting game, I knew from the description of the game that there would be different elements as it states the following;
EVERSPACE™ combines fast-paced combat with rogue like elements, great visuals and a captivating story. It takes you on a challenging journey through an ever-changing, beautifully crafted universe full of surprises. Shoot, craft and loot your way to victory while the odds are stacked against you.
I didn't know how this would be implemented yet alone applied with in the game and until I played it, I still thought it was a space shooter with good graphics, I was soon to find out how this game played, switched on my Xbox (also available on Windows and PS4) and selected the game.

once I had finished choosing whether I wanted inverted controls or not and other options I was met by this ship and the tutorial began, although the instructions were good when it showed what button to press I had to get closer to the screen just to see it (but that may have just been me) , the only ones i had seen clearly were the sticks L and R.
After a bit of a learning curve I learned how to harvest materials and collect credits quite easily, you will learn how to craft better weapons, better ammo, better armor, also you will need to learn how to defend yourself, which can be a difficult task when 5 or more enemies are out to destroy you (I know so unfair right lol) and you can't always out run them.
As far as I've found each area you visit will have it's own objective some of which I didn't know about until I was exploring, so guys get used to moving around and checking asteroids out.
Release date was 26 May 2017 for XBOX, it's also available on Steam and PS4 release was May 4th 2018 and will cost $29.99/ £22.99).
So if you love space Games this is worth a go and if your still undecided here's a trailer video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tIRKhmhxUD0
